Privacy Policy

What information is collected?

The app collects the following information from users:

  • Name (first and last name) — provided during account registration
  • Email address — provided during account registration and when inviting parents
  • User ID — automatically generated by Firebase Authentication upon account creation
  • Device push token — automatically collected when the user enables push notifications

 

Additionally, teachers enter student names, parent names, homework assignments, and attendance records as part of normal app usage.

 

Why is this information collected?

All information is collected solely to support core app functionality:

  • Name and email — used for authentication, displaying user identity within the app, and sending parent invitation emails
  • User ID — used to associate data (classes, students, homework, attendance) with the correct user account
  • Device push token — used to deliver push notifications (e.g. when homework is assigned)
  • Student and parent data — entered by teachers to manage classes, track homework and attendance, and share records with linked parents

 

No data is collected for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond app functionality.

 

Do we use cookies?

No cookies are used.

 

Does the app include third-party analytics?

No. The app does not use third-party analytics services for tracking, profiling, or advertising.

 

Does the app include third-party advertising?

No. The app does not display ads or use advertising networks.

 

Will the data be shared with any third parties?

We use Firebase services (Firestore and Cloud Functions) solely to securely store and process app data needed for functionality. We use Resend solely to deliver parent invitation emails on behalf of the app.

We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.

 

Is the app collecting any user or device data for purposes beyond third-party analytics or third-party advertising?

No. All collected data is used only to support core app features related to class management, homework tracking, attendance tracking, and optional push notifications.
