We collect a participant-chosen nickname, an app-generated participant ID, an optional age band, the device time zone, and timestamps for when a participant profile is created and last active.
If enabled, we also store a device notification token to support optional push notifications.
We record session participation events associated with a participant ID and session or series identifiers to support in-app check-in progress, badges, and rewards.
Why is this information collected?
This information is used solely for app functionality, including:
- Creating and maintaining a participant profile
- Preventing duplicate check-ins
- Displaying participation progress, badges, and rewards inside the app
- Supporting optional notifications such as session reminders or program updates
- Ensuring notifications are delivered at appropriate local times using the device time zone
The app is designed as a motivational tool to encourage participation in in-person programs, not for monitoring or advertising.

No. The app does not use third-party analytics services for tracking, profiling, or advertising.

No. The app does not display ads or use advertising networks.

We use Firebase services (Firestore and Cloud Functions) solely to securely store and process app data needed for functionality.

No. All collected data is used only to support core app features related to participation, engagement, and optional notifications.
